A case of giant hydronéphrosis on obstructive ureteral lithiasis

Adult giant hydronephrosis is a rare clinical entity. His diagnosis not obvious. We report case of 42-year-old man, who was admitted for large intra-abdominal mass, painless, evolving about 8 months. The examination showed very distended abdomen. abdominal CT confirms the left on ureteral lithiasis. Surgical treatment consisted an emergency percutaneous nephrostomy followed by secondary nephrectomy. evolution favourable and aftermath were simple.
